Holly Golightly..I mean Anna Friel loves Vintage Clothing!

Anna Friel has taken on the lead role of Holly Golightly in Truman Capotes classic story "Breakfast at Tiffany's" at London's Royal Haymarket theatre. The original Holly Golightly was of course played by Audrey Hepburn and the film adaptation was set in the early 1960s, where as Capote's book is actually set in the 1940s. So theatre goers you have been warned! If you want to see a copy of the original movie and an Audrey Hepburn impression do not go along to the Royal haymarket. Just watch the film.
Friel has been the talk of the big smoke after being photographed on numerous occasions popping out of stage door at the end of the night in an array of vintage fabulous outfits! Anna has confessed that she has loaded up her dressing room with large hats and vintage shoes to keep the press and fans entertained. Friel says: "Now the paps are hanging around the stage door every night I like to put them on to leave the theatre."
I love her outfits pictured here. Anna can go from a 1940s vintage sweetheart to a 60s "it" girl over night! Friel has always loved vintage clothing and dressing up and readily admits "Im as happy as a pig in s**t in a vintage store". See the pic below to see what Anna wore at the play's press night after party:
Anna was clearly saving the best dress for last! This floor length vintage satin gown suits her shape perfectly and with bold red lips she looks like a forties vision. I cannot wait for more fantastic vintage outfits from Anna and I really want to see the original "Breakfast at Tiffany's" on stage! "Breakfast at Tiffany's" is on stage well into the new year and you can buy tickets by visiting the Royal Haymarket Theatre's website.
