Knit one, purl one..

My winter scarf has been knitted! It was completed a couple of weeks ago now, but it was my first knitting project so I am dead chuffed and I keep boasting about the glorious scarf to anyone who is in a 6ft radius of me. (Sorry!) If you get a chance to look at it closely you will see that it is heavily flawed, with an extra knitted row here and a dropped stitch there...oops. I like it though. I have lost two tassels already, but I love my flawed scarf as I made it.
The wool cost me just £3 off ebay and the whole thing from start to finish took me about five days. I knitted infront of the tv and actually found it a really relaxing task. So there you go, don't spend your pretty pennies on a scarf from the high street go out and buy some wool and get knitting. I am already making another for Mr.Bailie.

I like to knit also, but I do them using a mmmm, I donno the english word but is an item made of wood , because it is hard for me to do it with 2 nails (is that well said?)
Anyway, I have done several and I have to start knitting NOW because I sell them to my coworkers and friend hehehe.....they are simple just I choose nice and bright colors =)
And as you, I do them while watching tv and that relaxes me too, I think is a good therapy =)

  4. Ahhh a needle? I think thats such a great idea - they make great gifts and are super cheap to make - I bet their reactions make it all the worth while too? The thought that someone has put time and effort into making someone something is alot better than buying a gift they may never use?! xx
