Here it is, I have teased you enough for a couple of weeks, but here is my first vintage style dress that will be available to buy this summer online at Natasha Bailie Vintage Clothing Co! This has been a dream of mine since I began my vintage journey, but I honestly never thought it would become a reality due to my lack of sewing skills and not having a seamstress that I can call on. Now I am living in Singapore surrounded by some of the finest tailors and seamstresses this side of the globe. I decided it was now or never and have jumped in dresses first.
I have sold some stunning vintage pieces over the last three years, some I have been so sad to see go and always promised myself that it was ok as I would some day replicate their vintage dreaminess with my own vintage inspired dress collection. So here is my first style....

I have chosen a simple vintage pattern and made it my own, by adding a large sash (It would not be very NB if it had no bow) a full pleated skirt and low neckline. The back goes into the shape of a V to be met with a large bow at the back. I wanted my first style to be simple, pretty and wearable for my ladies! I love the idea that my dress could be worn to weddings, parties and vintage soirees, but also wanted to give my gals the option to wear in the day, going about their normal days. Who says you should be fabulous just on the weekends?
This vintage inspired dress collection will be available mid June and will come in 5 different prints. One style, five prints.
Available sizes will be from UK8 - UK14.
Here are the other prints....
What do you think? Think I have a problem with floral prints? I would have to agree - but they make me feel so summery and I cannot wait to wear them out in the sunshine!

I know I've already said this on Twitter, but this dress really is very pretty. I love the neckline, and your choice of prints is fab :-)

ReplyDeleteReally love it, the style, design, and just the idea of being a lady in the summer! I live in the land of turquoise, in Southwestern U.S. My Native American jewelry would really complement the blues in some of the prints, although purple is my favorite! Congratulations!
