As a notorious "fake blonde"...I
honestly have no idea what my natural hair colour was or is untill my roots
appear. I have been everything from an ash blonde to a bold as brass blonde and
that includes everything in between. I have tried dying my locks myself, salon
highlights, bleaching...you name it and even though my mane is golden, the
condition is far from it! Dry from the root, split ends, course texture...it is
a heady mess and more often than not I am in a bad cycle of colouring versus conditioning.
Being a vintage loving broad - I love to create the hairstyles from the past which means I use a lot of product and a lot of heat to create my perfect vintage hairstyle.
I found this Garnier Nutrisse British Blondes Collection tutorial helpful and now I actually feel like I know where I have been going wrong all these years. It is great that there is a blonde collection that not only keeps your hair light, but conditions from roots to tips too. Not to mention this video gives great tips on how to match your blonde to your skintone, which I have found so tricky in the past being a vintage loving pale broad.
Finally a product and tutorial with advice on how to be the perfect blonde...but who is your favourite blonde?
