Breakfast at Tiffany's is to make its Broadway debut in February 2013 and Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke or 'Mother of dragons' as most of us know her as is rumoured to be playing Ms. Holly Golightly. Emilia obviously has no problem with time travel...from the imaginary deserts of Essos to the rough streets of Manhattan in the 1940s, Clarke is by far my favourite actress of the moment and this news is beyond exciting!
Adapted for the Broadway stage by Richard Greenberg, the Tony Award-winning writer of Take Me Out, and directed by Sean Mathias Waiting For Godot the stage show promises to be less like the movie adaptation and more like the original Truman Capote text.

“The goal of this version is to return to the original setting of the novella, which is the New York of the Second World War, as well as to resume its tone — still stylish and romantic, yes, but rougher-edged and more candid than people generally remember,” Greenberg said in a statement. “Capote was a great writer and a natural maker of plots and Breakfast at Tiffany’s has a drive that makes it very alluring to dramatize.”
The play will begin performances at Broadway’s Shubert theater in February 2013.

Wow, that would be so great!
